Even though the 2017 Fringe ended, some shows have added life in them as is the case with “Will the Circle,” which gets some extra playtimes at The Buffalo Room this week.

So, if you missed this show, check out the schedule for the upcoming weekend and hang out with the cast. The show concerns some individuals in need of social connections and a purpose in life. They want to belong and they want to create their own circle and find a release from their solitary lives. The problem is finding people they relate to and finding ways to fit in.

According to the Fringe blog about the show: Block parties have always been a neighborhood’s “beers-and-brats” version of “Keep Calm, Carry On.” But in a country as divided as ever, with violence simmering at the edge of every day, what better way to combat the stress than by trying to get to know your neighbors, one home invasion at a time? The Buffalo Room presents the Kansas City premiere of “Will The Circle,” a folk musical comedy by L.C. Bernadine and Kevin Welch, directed by Vi Tran.

Shawna Peña-Downing: Annalise
Joseph Fournier: Brendan
Ryan Hruza: Trey
Elisa Poehling: Liv
Davis DeRock: Peter
Jerod Rivers: Brad
Vi Tran: Director
Victoria Mueller: Assistant Director/Production Stage Manager

Music for the show was composed by Kevin Welch.
