Unicorn statement suggests assistance

Dear Unicorn patrons,

I hope you are all staying healthy. In this time of uncertainty, we must all do our part to support and protect one another.

Unicorn Theatre has canceled the last two weeks of performances of American Son. We are rescheduling our production of The Lifespan of a Fact. Hopefully, our doors will be open to the public again in June.

That means we will have no income for more than two months. But our expenses haven’t stopped. This is a potential threat to Unicorn Theatre. We are committed to paying our staff. We have paid severance to artists and technicians. They are our family – I want to help them however I can. Although we have eliminated all non-essential spending our building still needs to be cared for. Give today, to ensure the future of theatre in Kansas City. You can make sure that we are still here next year. You have that power.

Make a $100.00 donation today. If you can, double that gift to cover your neighbor’s contribution. If I can count on your support during this dire time, then we can make it through this.
