Rare Opportunity to see Russian Award Winner Vladimir Viardo

WHO:             Vladimir Viardo
Gold Medalist of one of the world’s most prestigious piano competitions.
Was held behind the Iron Curtain shortly after his win, keeping him from his winnings including the world tour which would have launched his career. Instead became one of classical piano’s most pre-eminent teachers.

WHAT:          Viardo became a master of more than 37 piano concertos while in Russia. But he also became one of the best piano instructors in the world still coaching today.

                        He will perform the following:

                        The entire second half of his concert will be an unusual offering for audiences…. They will get to witness a master teacher coach a gifted piano student to have a snapshot view of the process behind becoming one of the best.
