After a night of heavy drinking, Wade Cruze pays an uninvited visit to his ex-lover Sherry. He’s become seriously ill from mixing chemicals at the rural Missouri chocolate manufacturing plant where he works. And he’s learned that the illness could be irreversible. Sherry works there too. And so does her current beau, a young outsider who’s trying to rise through the ranks. Tensions rise when he too drops in without notice. Love. Sex. Regret. Jealousy. Greed. It’s all part of the toxic stew that makes up “Slurry”. The play stars Matt Leonard, Laura Jacobs and Davis DeRock.
