Dear Chestnut Patrons,

Accentuate the Positive opens Sept 12 at the Chestnut and will run through Oct 20.

The 2019-2020 Chestnut Season opens with Accentuate the Positive, a tribute to the talented Johnny Mercer. Mercer was the ultimate songwriter – he wrote lyrics for more than 1,500 songs! It’s difficult to choose his “best” songs, but this show highlights many of his most memorable – Satin Doll, Come Rain or Come Shine, Moon River, and of course, Accentuate the Positive!
