From the writer of 2017’s “There Ain’t No More! Death of a Folk Singer” and creators of 2017’s “Clockstoppers” and 2018’s Best of Fest “Lil Women: a rap musical” brings a new show making it’s world debut at KC Fringe. The Lightweight is a story about an underdog who becomes a champion of her own story.

 Performer/Producer Bio:

Lindsay Taylor:  Lindsay is an award-winning writer, director, and producer, her pride and joy being “Lil’ Women- a rap musical.” “Lil’ Women” won the New Producer Award from Orlando Fringe, and was voted Best in Green Venue and Best New Musical in 2013 in Orlando by The Daily City, and was picked as one of the Top Ten Best Bets of the Fringe by the Orlando Sentinel. She also co-wrote 2014’s hit show “Jekyll N’ Hyde: a rap musical” and most recently co-wrote “Robyn Da Hood: a rap musical” which won an Orlando Sentinel Critics Choice Award for Best Original Book of a Musical, along with The Daily City Audience Choice Award for Best Comedy

The Lightweight is a part of a four show pack of performers bringing shows all the way from Orlando, Florida. Other shows include Beneath the Bikini, Muttnik, and War Paint.
